Accessibility Statement

Corporate Gift Experts is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We work to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the standard most commonly referenced by U.S. courts under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, and analogous state laws.

What we do

  • Design our interfaces around semantic HTML so screen readers can announce content correctly.
  • Provide visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for larger text and interface elements.
  • Provide text alternatives for images that convey information.
  • Label form fields with visible or programmatically associated labels.
  • Trap keyboard focus inside dialogs and restore it when they close.
  • Respect the prefers-reduced-motion system preference.
  • Honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out from tracking.
  • Test each release with the axe accessibility engine and periodically with real screen readers.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas of the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known items we are actively working on include:

  • Some third-party embedded surfaces (Stripe payment forms, Clerk sign-in) follow their vendor's accessibility standards, which we cannot modify directly.
  • Custom drag-to-scroll behavior on the homepage product carousels — keyboard users should use the arrow buttons to navigate.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment, not a one-time audit. Every new feature is reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA before release, and we welcome feedback from customers, employees, and researchers on where we can improve.
